Iron substrate is a kind of metal substrate used for high end motor, high-end product equipment and motor. It is widely used in the market. It is generally exported to countries such as Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Canada. The hardness of iron base plate is much more difficult than aluminum substrate, and it is difficult for ordinary manufacturers to master the technology. The cost cost and the scrap rate are relatively high.

Most of the iron base plate in the market is one side aluminum substrate (green oil iron base plate) and double faced iron base plate, the thickness is generally between 1mm-6mm, the iron base board has line layer: equivalent to the common PCB copper clad plate, the line copper foil thickness is between LOZ and 8oz.

The iron base plate process is generally as follows: (1) grinding board (500# brush), (2) water washing, (3) passivation, (4) washing * 3 - drying - 6 drying, grinding plate: grinding iron only and grinding plate according to FR4 parameters. The first board requires that the line is not scratched, the tin surface is black and so on, and the grinding marks are even.
